Leaves and simple botanical shapes printed on natural cotton: the outdoors brought in, at a scale that suits a bedroom rather than a garden. It works particularly well in rooms that already lean on plants, wood and natural light.
Nothing on it tells a child what the game is, so the game changes weekly.

Allow a clear square of about 1.3 m — try the masking-tape test. Fits two children and a book, or one grown-up sitting up.

Canvas lifts off the frame: machine wash at 30° or hand wash, line dry. Wipe the poles. Cotton isn't waterproof — bring it in before rain.

WHY IT STAYS UP
Four pine poles, each one piece
Most children's tents fall over because their poles come in segments joined by plastic. Ours are four solid pine poles held in sewn cotton sleeves. Pull the top tie tight once and it stands through the roughest afternoon.
WHEN IT'S IN THE WAY
Folds flat behind a door
Loosen the top, slide the poles out of their sleeves and the whole thing leans behind a door or under a bed. Back up again in five minutes when the friends come round.

Does it really stay up?

Is the mat included?
Only in the Cosy set and Full den set — choose it above the price. Teepee only is the canvas and poles.
Can it go in the garden?
On a dry day. Cotton canvas isn't waterproof, so bring it in before rain.
Filling more than one room?
Siblings rarely agree on a colour. Add a second teepee to the same order and it ships with the first.
