About us

Teepee Tents sells one thing, and we try to know it properly: cotton canvas teepees for children, on frames of solid pine, cut and sewn in a single workshop in Poland.

Fourteen designs, one build. No plastic connectors, no segmented poles, no claims we can't stand behind. Below is how they're made and what we actually believe about a toy that does nothing on its own — and is all the better for it.

WHO YOU'RE BUYING FROM

We sell one thing, and we know it properly

Teepee Tents is a small UK shop with a deliberately short catalogue. We don't stock trampolines or scooters or whatever is trending this month — we sell children's teepees, from one workshop in Poland, and we know the specification of every one.

That focus is the point. We can tell you which colour photographs closer to cream than white, and whether the thing will fit in your box room. We also say the unglamorous parts out loud: cotton isn't waterproof, the mat isn't included, and a two-year-old probably isn't ready for one yet.

MADE IN THE EU

Sewn by the people who designed it

Our teepees come from a single workshop in Poland that makes them start to finish — cutting, sewing and packing under one roof, rather than ordering them in finished and putting a label on.

The canvas is heavyweight cotton, dyed through the fibre so the colour survives the third wash. Everything is boxed by hand in the workshop and sent to you from there.

WHY IT STAYS UP

Four pine poles, each one piece

Cheap tents fall over because their poles come in segments joined by plastic clips. Ours are four lengths of solid, sanded pine, held in sewn cotton sleeves. Pull the top tight once and it stands through the roughest afternoon — and the next child's.

See how it goes together
  • Step 3 – the teepee standing in a bedroom, a few minutes later

    Built to be handed on

One teepee that survives three children beats three that survive one each. Washable, foldable, repairable.

  • Kids teepee folded flat and stored behind a door

Out of the way in a minute

Loosen the top, slide the poles out and it leans behind a door. Nothing to unscrew, nothing to lose.

  • At 3 – a reading den with a parent nearby

    We tell you the limits

Cotton isn't waterproof. The mat is only in the sets. Under-threes need you in the room. You hear it before you buy.
